Valerie Morris grew up in chicago, but today lives in the country in Colorado in a log home.
For the past eight years she has helped position others as authorities in their respective fields with content marketing and social media marketing, and she’s done that for herself as well. Valerie likes to practice what she preaches, which means that she has focused on building a network that knows herself and her company as the go-to for help with digital marketing. She says that she has met some of my best clients through these tactics. Her superpower is consistency! And that is critical in marketing, as we discuss in this episode.
Valerie says that a lot of people are perplexed by her entrepreneurial tendencies and are especially perplexed by her homesteading journey. She likes to weave her adventures on her homestead into stories and applications. She has a talk called “When S@#% Really Hits The Fan | Solving Unique Problems in Content Marketing” that talks about pivoting and solving new problems in marketing. This is based on her experience of discovering they had bats INSIDE their home and how we solved that unique problem. (I actually have a similar story!)
